Enrolment will take place two weeks before the school term starts. A timetable of classes will be issued at this time. In case of over-subscription, priority is first given to students registered in the previous term, followed by children on the waiting list.
Payment in advance is required for each term no later than one week before the term starts. Term fees cover classes lasting 3 hours per day, one day per week. This does not include textbooks, which will be paid for separately. No refund is provided for classes missed by the student. Classes cancelled due to the unavailability of the teacher will be refunded. In the case of severe weather or other hazardous conditions that pose a potential threat to the health and safety of the students, classes may be cancelled without a refund.
Boys and girls between five and ten years’ old need to wear garments that at least cover their knees. Girls eleven years of age and older are required to wear full-length trousers or skirts, a long-sleeved top and hijab.
No bad language or other forms of misbehaviour will be tolerated. Parents will be informed of unacceptable behaviour exhibited by their child. If the misbehaviour continues for two more weeks after initial notification, the child may be excluded from classes for the remainder of the half term at the discretion of the teacher and with no refund of fees. Students will look after the classroom and other facilities while on school premises.
Homework is to be completed in time for the following class.
Al-Aqsa School will be informed of any health conditions (including allergies) or medical requirements of the student in order to ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff.
